Does anyone else on this forum own a sea-pro? The one I own has a 3.0lx mercruiser in it and I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing some of the "problems" I am. Boat is great on the river as far as a dry, stable ride but it seems underpowered. It also rides bow down when tied to the dock and this causes rain water to pool toward the bulkhead at the cuddy. Am interested in knowing how other owners are doing with their sea-pros. Thanks.

When I was shopping around for boats i did a lot of homework on spec's from several brands. I found Sea-Pro to be a good midrange boat for the price. Construction fit and finish is better than most. Hydralic steering is also a big plus. On th 210's the weight is probbly between 2300 and 2800 without he motor.<br />How much gas are you hauling? If I carry a full tank 42 gallons it will add several hundred pounds. What speed are getting and what prop do you have? Dan180cc, thanks for the reply and glad to hear that you are pleased with your sea-pro. I think that the Sea-Pro boat is a well built boat also. The 210 will carry 70 gal. when topped off. I am currently running a 15.25x15 alum. prop. and cruise at 15mph (gps measured) at 3200 rpm. At WOT the boat will make close to 24mph. This is with only myself on board. Thanks for the phone number and I will be giving them a call on Mon. I believe that the water pooling toward the bulkhead is because the boat was really designed for a larger engine and the smaller 4 cyl. engine does not have enough weight to bring the stern down to where it should be. I still like the boat, its great to fish out of and rides dry when the river kicks up. Thanks again for the reply and the best of luck to you and yours.

friend of mines has a 1990 seapro 21 foot dont want to get caut in a chopy sea just dont handel too well
