I can get a 1970 9 hp. Seak King for $150. It supposedly runs good and is in overall good shape. The problem is I don't know much about Sea King. Is it worth buying? I guess for $150 it's no big loss if it blows up on me or anything. Can you still get parts for these motors?

Hi JZ,
It was made by Chysler for Wards. Simple parts are easy to get, plus used ones.
Have it test run for you to see if it works ok. Check the LU oil for water or metal fileings, if none go for it. Like you say $150 is cheap, so if it works a year you got your money out of it.

corm
