I have a 1976 6HP Sea King and I cannot figure out where the water is spit out of. The motor works fine but I see no water coming out of anywhere. Any help is appreciated.
Then maybe it isn't coming out???? OK, I don't know about a '76 Sea King, but almost any motor will spray some out the above-water exhaust relief. Some, but not all, will also pee a stream.
I guess I don’t get notifications when people respond to this thread. Thanks for the ideas. I figured it out. It does not have a tail to pee out of. I replaced the impeller and now it pushed water and a lot of water along with smoke. I am afraid I have other issues which I will start a new thread for.
