Just picked this cute little thing up at a garage sale for $20.

Anyone know the year and if I were to keep it should I touch up the paint scratches?

Also with modern day oils what oil ratio would you use.

Any other info would be muchly appreciated.

I'm going to put it in a barrel soon but just pulling it it seems fine. Salt water environment yet it's as clean as a whistle.

I read something about 24 to 1 but I'm thinking with modern oils I can probably go leaner.

Looks like it's a 1958

With a good oil mabey 32 but would not go to 50...I would want to look at the water pump before any serious running !
