Yo, Salt. By w.o.t. do you mean max rpm? If so you may have too much prop. If that's not what you mean, give us more detail.

Tight lines.
JB

Re: sea drive

To tightlines,I mean the 2.6 omc runs great up to about 4000 rpm. Then the engine starts surging, like it is starving for gas.I saw in a Clymer manual that the v6s had two fuel pmps in series.I just wonder if the single omc pump I installed can provide enough fuel.
I am content with the engine running @ 4000 rpms, but I wonder if that,s good for it.
thanks for any info

------------------
RLPLAYER

Howdy, Master Chief. Try pumping your primer bulb when the engine starts surging. If it takes off you probably need greater pumping capacity. I doubt that OMC would have used the series pumps if one could do the job. If you still have the VRO pump you can reinstall it with the oil inlet plugged and still get the gas pumping capacity.

Good luck.

JB
