I want something close to a standup and I heard the HX is the way to go. I understand they are unstable and hard to board in deep water. I've looked at other skis but they are all too "bathtub" like for my taste. I like the 3D but I don't like the 6500 price tag. Any ideas?

Re: Sea Doo HX -- a goofball?

find an xp with the 787 engine, they started with the 787 in 96 or for a little more power go to a gsx ltd with the 951 engine 2 seaters that you can do all sorts of wild stuff with and ride normal like when you feel like chilling ,oh one problem none of the jet ski's will do what you want without my steering, they are totally out of controll when stock, good news is that you do not need any other mods just the steering added and you will have more fun than you ever imagined. however you better have strong forearms on the gsx ltd I drove a few fitted with the steering and my arms got tired from holding on for dear life, doing 180 turns at top speed , and that was sitting on the seat, standing up and playing around is un believable, even with the xp and 787 engines its really a wild machine if you want it to be.
