According to the owners manual after 100+ hours of use the 2003, 4 tec's ( non supercharged) should have the jet pump spindles greased apart from the usual oil and filter change. However, this, as usual, is supposed to be done by the dealer. Does any one know how to do it? Or other wise know how to buy the 4 tec's shop manual as i have searched extensivley on the internet but did not find any for sale!!

I will see if I can find out this weekend , sounds strange to me, I never had one apart is there a coupler where 2 drive shafts meet? you can't do anything for the pump but there is a fitting on the pto where the driveshaft goes in it , grease also goes in the impeller at the other end of the shaft but you need to remove the pump to do that. and put grease in where the splines are, I believe you should inspect your gear lube in the pump, but you need to take the forcing cone off to access the allen cap filler on the little cap at the end of the pump.
