Looking to buy a 32' Sea Craft all open offshore, center console with two Optimax 250 HP brand new. (2003 left over)at REALLY good blow out price. Any input on the hull or quality of Sea Craft?
Looked at a few sea crafts down at BPS, including the 32'.. Nice.. (be nicer if it was offered with a diesel inboard, or twins )

Sea Craft quality is pretty good... Fit and finish are excellent (I'm extreemly pickey)... Long as the motors are under warranty, I don't think you could go wrong..
I have had two Seacraft, both of them older hulls
one 20' and one 23', They are generally good quality and I don't think you could find a better looking hull. However, a 32' with twin outboards is a real waster, why not a single diesel with counterrotating outdrive? I don't think you need to go 40mph unless you just want to burn up a bunch of fuel, good luck
Thanks guys....them pair of 250 Optimax's I figered, 60 mph+ top speed with lite load all up weight with no fuel in the rig is 6,000 lbs. i guess I'm jus used to REALLY fast speed like in my Aerostar.... Life is short, get there fast and fish hard....
