Fished the little egg reef this weekend, 7.5 miles out in about 65 feet of water. First day (friday) produced about 25-30 spiny and smooth dogfish, up to maybe 36", and a few skates.

Second day (saturday) produced some (seven, 4 keepers) nice sea bass, up to 18", and a couple dogfish, one monster 48", have a picture but it's on a disposable camera that's not full yet. Also a few skates.

All taken on fluke rigs using a squid and killie combo.

Re: Sea Bass

Not that I heard, out on the reef that is. Fluke are still in the shallower water, doing well some days in the bay here in about 7-12 feet. Throw backs are out numbering keepers about 5 to 1 or so.
