They have a good reputation around here for solid basic boats, well made and designed, and affordable. I know of a couple that have been on the river for years, as good family boats (Scouts, but CC not DC).
The Dorado series is a dual console set-up, which is OK, but look at the same size sportfish--center console. same capacity/seatnig but way more room, making it more versatile for general and family use. That is, if you are buying new and have the choice.
