Scout Boats - Any Owner Comments Good/Bad

I'm thinking about buying the Scout 280 CC. I do not know anyone who has owned a Scout boat. I welcome any comments..good or bad about the boat or factory support.<br /><br />Thanks<br />Eric

I almost bought one a couple of years ago. Dorado 18.<br /><br />The company (dealer was too) was a delight to deal with and I was throughly impressed with the boat on an extended sea trial.<br /><br />I decided, at that time, not to buy any boat.<br /><br />I consider the quality right up there with Whaler.<br /><br />They are on my short list when I do decide to buy.
