Scout 175

I am seriously considering buying a Scout 175 w a 90 Yamaha 4 stroke. Can the boat handle the weight of the engine? Does it sit in the water so low that the scuppers don't drain? Any othe pros or cons?

Scuppers in the water, if you go really fast that won't be a problem, unless they are located in the bow

Aside from that, if it seems odd and you have to ask the question, trust your instincts, it is probably not right
