Hi All,

I'm looking to talk to someone who owns a Scott Atwater 7.5HP from the 40's....

Specifically a model 473.

It's a twin cylinder...no shift...prior to all the "bail-o-matic" stuff.

I've poked around the various SA and vintage boards...a lot of newer SA stuff out there...but I've yet to see even a picture of this particular one.

My Dad and I owned one (he was the original purchaser) and I would like to talk to someone who has one.

Thanks for reading, Chuck

This is the best I could do.

I think that the one in the above ad is this one:

I think that they are a single cylinder model...perhaps also from 1947. A member over at AOMCI ID'd it as perhaps a Model 467 or 471...circa 1946 or '47

I'm looking for it's big brother...the 7.5 HP Model 473.

Thanks for the reply Willy...

And thanks all for reading, Chuck

So, start a new thread and we will tell you what you want to know---whatever that is.
