Where do I find the model id numbers. All I know it is a scott atwater, and it is a 2 cylyinder

Should have a tag on the clamp bracket under the carburettor from what I recall.

Two cylinder Scotts range from 5hp on up to over 40. If you post a pic of it, that would help too. The old green and gold ones were my favorite. These are usually 5, 10, and 16 horse. The later ones included a 6 and 7.5 and were a low profile design.
