Schumacher xcs15 battery charger user help

Hi all. I just bought a Schumacher xcs15 battery charger. I followed the instructions and connected and charged one of my boat's two batteries (Deka 24m7) just fine. I connected the second battery (Interstate 24m-xhd) and when I plug the unit in and press the charge speed select button, the unit starts switching on and off and the LED screen flashes "on" then "off" over and over. The "connected" LED indicator is on, so the connection to the battery is seemingly ok.

There is no error code on the LED screen, just "on" and "off"

What do you guys think the problem is?

Have you read the manual that came with the charger? It sounds like the batt is fully charged and the charger is simply looking at the batt voltage (ON), deciding it's good, and doesn't need to put out any juice (OFF)...
