schematic for trim gauge wiring 89' reinell

Anyone have or know the wiring location and colors for a trim gauge? I had trim gauge go bad (or so I think) and replaced with a new one. The new one isn't working and I don't know if I didn't wire right.<br />Thanks for any help.

Miro, most trim gauge failures are really not the gauge, but the sender on the outdrive. Please give us more info on what you have(as Don requested) and what symptoms you have.

symptoms are basically it quit, I hooked the new one up like the old one, but maybe i missed or did something wrong or its the sender. is the sender hard to fix/replace?
