scan tool for volvo penta

hi there,
new member today...

i have glastron 2002 with 5.7 gsi ( tbi ) prod no 3869059 & ser no 4012050201.
all running fine. want to buy a scan tool. looked at techmate by rinda version 6.0. will this tool reset fault codes on later can bus applications like 2009 carnic with 2x 4.3 gxi volvos ? what limitations has this tool and what exactly can it do and not do ?

Not sure what a 2009 carnic is, but the Scan tool will only do the EGC systems, not the EVC systems.
