What is this and how would one go about figuring it out?
For instance, 100MPH scaled speed if the scale was 1.5.

Is that scale 1.5 or 1:5. If it's 1.5 then you're looking at 150mph. snappers got it though. :D

I like the way the "trailered" the boat!

I have a "cruiser" boat - it is pretty cool - but on a lake it looks like a matchbox..

Tlord

1:5 scale means 1" of model equals 5" original.
100mph scaled to 1:5 would be 20mph.

Re: Scaled Speed

FWIW, here’s my .02 cents 1:5 reads like a ratio, 1/5 reads more like scale, as in being 1/5 the original size. Also can be expressed as 20% of original size in which all original measurements are multiplied by .2 to obtain the reduced value. As stated 100 MPH X.2=20 MPH at 1/5 scale.

Hey Spinner pics are required! :)
Boys and their Toys.. I think 20mph is about right.
I got a 8ft Hot Air Balloon... not exactly sure what to do with it yet.
Guess I'll wait until my Niece comes down from Alaska next week then maybe try to make R float!
Directions say to use a hair dryer but I think my heat gun should work just fine! :D :D :D
