I have a 2007 Sea Ray and my SC1000 Tach worked well for a while. It then became a bit spotty and would only work occasionally but now I can’t get it on at all. The tach works but the smart readings won’t come on at all. The light appears to work, but the LCD screen isn’t showing anything at all.
It isn’t wiring to the engine, as I have VesselView installed behind the console into the same terminal and it works flawlessly. My concern is that I need to replace the whole gauge. That’d suck because it’s $400 but it shows a lot of useful data.
Any suggestions for shortcuts? I’ve tried switching inputs w the VesselView and SC1000 to see if that was it but no luck. VesselView still works and the gauge won’t come on.
I’m hesitant to just replace the screen since that is $100 by itself. Thanks in advance!
