SBT Top engine rebuild question?

I'm getting ready to do a top engine rebuild for my 94 Sea Doo gtx. I decided to go with the whole cylinder exchange deal they have. Well, I ordered the parts and got a call from SBT to verify my order and she asked me if I was running a SBT crank. I told her no it was stock. She said that I would have to purchase wrist pin bearings from sea doo because theirs were too big. My question...since the wrist pin bearings I have are fine why can't I just reuse them? Are SBT's wrist pin a different size or something? Please advise.

Thanks,
Jason

That doesn't make sense. The wrist pin has nothing to do with the crank. The wrist pin has to fit the small end of the connecting rod and the wrist pin hole in the piston.
She must have been talking about the CRANK PIN.
Better call back and have another go-round with her.

I have run in to that with sbt, never investigated it, and it really seems strange but they always ask if you have their crank and a factory pin and piston fit the crank, so go figure

When you call back, ask for Bryan Glenn, he knows his stuff. Tell him CaptnKirk from PWCToday said for you to talk to him.
