Re: Sandbag?

I myself wouldn't. If the bag rips ya got a mess to deal with. What kind of boat, and does it list to one side at rest? Ya could move stuff around to level it out,as in portable fuel tank, battery, gear, ect. Or do you have a bigger boat, with saturated foam. Is tge watertank or fuel tank only on one side?

Re: Sandbag?

the object of the ghame is to have less weight, so adding dead weight is never a good idea (wake boats excepted). Move things around, including where you sit/stand. Leveling is one of the best features of trim tabs, too.

Re: Sandbag?

Coast Guard uses sandbags to fill a new design hull and test its load carrying capacity. Wakeboarders use a water filled bladder to make bigger wakes.

Not exactly what you are asking but the idea is there.

Re: Sandbag?

Every boat I've owned had a battery on each side to balance out the load. Why not move one battery to the other side,
