Possible? Sure, it's possible. I've done it in an 18' open bow runabout, numerous other powerboats, a Hobie Cat and other larger sail boats. It's been done on jet skiis, sea doos and who knows what else. Would I recommend it in an inflatable? No, especially not without another chase boat.
