Won't join you but have spent a lot of time at Havasu.

By far, the best hotel is the Nautical Inn or resort. Expensive but unique. Check their site. Get "Cove" rooms.

Best camping if Chemical toilets suit you are the state park sites on the Arizona side located probably over ten or so miles north of the dam. Shaded tables, tent sites, and toilets. Don't know how much they charge now, maybe 20-30 each morning when the rangers join you. These are boat in sites if you can stand that. But mostly isolated from neighbors. Go early and choose a site.

Thank mike for the info but can you give me more info about the hotel in lake havasu like which hotel have dock so we don't have to walk far heheh we plan Togo sometime in march or April maybe we have 5 boat and 3 pwc come out

Might be interested in meeting up with you at the river (Mohave) or possibly Big Bear although we've been thinking about Lake Pleasant in Arizona (about 30 No. of Phoenix). Let me know.
