It's a refurb for $299 shipped and no tax. The only thing I know (and like), it comes with a special 'pen' that stores in the edge of the tablet. They have too many of these to be true 'refurbs'. I think they are most likely end of production model closeouts.

Wait a few months for the rollout of the Apple ipad mini. which will probably come with the retina screen. I used to be a pc type guy until I bought the ipad two, then one for my wife and then an iphone 5 for each of us. Just bought 4 Apple TV's past few days too. Gave two to my kids as gifts. Once you go to the Apple ios platform you will never look back. All my flat screen tv's are Samsungs. They make a great tv. Two weeks ago bought another Samsung tv, this one is a 40 inch led smart TV. Yesterday, I added the Apple TV to this TV even though its a smart TV! My last smartphone was a Samsung. Owned it two years and they updated the software (read, fixed some bugs) once over the 2 years. More glitches than I care to remember. Apple are pretty much flawless. They have updated their ios several times over the past year. I would not take another brand tablet for $99, especially a refurb.
Once you go Apple, you will never look back Divide the difference between the Samsung refurb and a new Apple ipad min. Prob like $30 a year over the 5 years.

God, here we go with the Apple crap again, I have owned several apples and got rid of every single one of them, and believe it or not, my wife does graphics for a living and still prefers the PC platform. I bought and Ipad and took it back in favor of the Android tablets I now run.

And on top of it, we already had this conversation a couple of weeks ago. If I remember right didn't you buy an Ipad and take it back or something like that Boom?



My Lenovo, is great, It doesn't say ouch when I zoom it and I can add a 32gig SD card with no problems!

Yeah, we did MT, I just have not gotten a handle on this situation yet. And no, I did not buy an iPad, I had purchased an Acer netbook and took it back after I figured that a tablet would likely be more appropriate.

Yeah, we did MT, I just have not gotten a handle on this situation yet. And no, I did not buy an iPad, I had purchased an Acer netbook and took it back after I figured that a tablet would likely be more appropriate.

Ok, Sorry, I thought it was an iPad, I know we talked about batteries, which we found out can be replaced pretty easy.

Boom, you are just going to have to make a move and then play with something, which is why I suggested getting an inexpensive one, like I did and start playing, then you can refine what your needs really are. This is what I have done and actually, this little inexpensive Lenovo I purchased is working out great, and by the way, it DOES have flash, which I didn't realize, but I am able to watch movies, access bank accounts, manage my websites, cruise and bid on ebay. Really, I am not finding anything I can't do.

Yeah, MT, I think that is what it is boiling down to. Seems like computer stuff was easier to fathom in the 'old' days. Tell me 450 mhz PIII and I knew exactly where I stood. But with today's variety and price ranges, it just might be time to get into the pool from the shallow end.

I just looked up the A2107 at BestBuy. They list two. One is apparently new and the other is a refurb. They are both the same price??? What gives?
