SailDrive Engine

I bought a sailboat with an Evinrude SailDrive engine that needs work. This is basically an outboard modified to act as an inboard. I think the yr of mfg is 1984. Does anyone know where I can get a shop manual? The books I've found off the shelf don't cover this model. Thanx.

That manual should be available at your local Johnson/Evinrude dealer,though you wil likley have to order it.Make sure you let the counter person know that this is a saildrive and come with any model #S you can find to get the right publication.What problems are you having?Can we help?
