Safty shut down for a ele. fuel pump

If I install a ele. fuel pump on a ford 5.0 OMC, what do I need to do for a safty shut down?

Mercruiser uses an oil pressure switch to power the pump when running, and the start solenoid to power the pump when the engine is cranking over before starting.
Here is the wiring diagram and how it's wired in.
