Sacrificial Anodes ???

Alpha trim tab - just put on my 16P 4-blade prop and you guessed it - it hit's trim tab... my question is... <br />1. can't order it online (here in MA.)<br />2.nearest marine 1-hour away. <br />Is it possible to cut/grind a notch in trim tab or will it mess the electric charge up ???<br />Thanks Bruce

If you need to use the rig right away then hack it down to size.Just make sure you cut straight.I just went to 4 blade props and had to use the racing style zinc fin too.The racing style fin is thicker so you dont loose out on protection,so if you hack the current one down just make sure you eventaully put the right one on to protect your investment.Charlie

I got mine on line from the same guy I got the props from diversifiedmarine.com the guys name is Mike,I highly recommend.Charlie
