i HAVE AN 13 3/4 x 19 s/s PROP ON BOAT ABOUT RIGHT wanting to get spare prop and like the hustler prop line just wondering seems that 19 s/s is just about right for me thinking of 17' hustler for spare and have more bottom end for skiing but not sure if the hustler is like reg aluimium props and harder to turn than s/s.... been told that with reg aluimium prop need to drop 2" to turn same rpm as s/s if this is so then wouldn't want another prop of exact same character as one I have......any ideas.....

Re: S/S prop vs Hustler prop

The Hustler is a high perf aluminum prop. I've only seen one brand new aluminum, and that was for a 50hp I used to have. If you're running a 19p ss. You should be able to run the same with a Hustler due to the exhaust holes that are drilled in it, and the leading edges coming off the hub are tapered. Good Luck

RR01 :)
