I have a OMC 1994 cobra engine. The alternator<br />pully is rusted and wearing out the belt. What is the best way of cleaning the pully. I'm selling<br />the boat and don't want to replace it just because the pully is rusted.
There is something out there and I'm sorry I can't remember what it's called but it attaches to the belt and is good for removing rust and stopping squeeks. I believe you can get it from most automotive supply shops.
