I have twin 1997 Yamaha T50 4-strokes. When I tilt the starboard engine up, and then later return it to the running position, is runs rough for several minutes and smokes more than usual.
The port engine doesn’t exhibit this problem.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

dont tilt it. problem solved :) :)

could be a carb float issue. when tilting the fuel level in the bowl changes. it could be a float or a needle is sticking. its common with carbs and running at tilt angles. they are not designed to run past the trim range.

Thanks Rodbolt

I have to tilt up the engines when going to the sand bar to hang out. After an hour or more, thats when the problem surfaces.

It could be water in the fuel bowls on the carbs on that engine. Only a few drops will interfere with the flow of fuel. Try some dry gas additive or remove the drain screw from the carb bowl and drain the fuel from each carb.
