runs rough- smells rich- ocassional miss at acceleration

I have a 2000 350 h.p. fuel injected merc cruiser-work done-spark plugs- new fuel injectors-distributor cap and wires-fuel filters-fuel pump regulator- cap and rotor kit-- still issues running and smelling rich as well as rough with higher speed miss-any possible bits of advice to look into would be appreciated-Does burn a little blue- mechanic said compression checked out I hope he is right-Regards Andy also is there any computer scanning device that can hook in to engine Tech mate is 600 a little rich for my budget

How much did you spend on all that 'stuff' that didn't fix the problem? Would that money have bought the Techmate Pro or the Diacom software?

I see more people with EFI/MPI engines spend money chasing problems essentially with blinders on, since they cannot 'see' what the engine's computer is actually doing. Maybe there is a smartphone app or something that can do the same thing as the pricey software? :noidea:
