2004 Yamaha 2 stroke 60hp on a 20' pontoon. Motor starts and idles beautifully. Between 1000 and 2000 rpm it acts like its missing or running out of gas. Once over 2000 rpm run great. I thought it might need a carb rebuild. Pulled it out last weekend to winterize and do the carbs and I noticed both top and bottom spark plug boots were not all the way on the plug so I doubt they were perfectly set on the terminal. You think this may be causing the rough performance. Thanks
