Runs great but prop won't turn

I tapped bottom with my 1967 50hp Johnson now the prop isn't moving. I looked at the pin closest to the prop and its ok.The whole shaft is turning when I turn the prop.Is there another pin at the top of the shaft that could have sheared? If so how do I get to it?

I suppose the gearshaft is operating as it should, it should not be affected by a propstop. Otherwise, power is transferred from the engine via the driveshaft to the gear, and from the gear to the propshaft. You may have to retract the lower unit to see if the driveshaft moves with the prop. If it does, it's the fix between the engine and the driveshaft, if not, it's most likely the coupling between the driveshaft and the propshaft. I'd guess it's the coupling in the gear system in the lower unit. It shouldn't break easily on a new ouboard, but on a 1967 it may well happen, even if it should be protected by a security pin.
