It's been cool here for the last month. We even had to chisel the frost off the car window a few times. Don't know the water temps, but it's too cold to jump in.
So what's the deal on runnin the boat on a nice day in cold water?????
Or should I just put the boat in storage like everyone else is doing?
(Evinrude 100hp)

Keep an eye out for iceburgs! No seriously, you'd probably want to check your gearoil after your boatride. If there's any water in the gearcase and as cold as it is, there's always a chance of the water freezing, expanding and cracking your gearcase housing.

That is a good point. I was more concerned about the water that cools the engine.
