Two reasons for the oil in the gas: one is to lubricate bearings and cylinders/pistons, the other is for corrosion protection of bearings and shiny metal internal motor parts when motor is turned off. 100:1 is proved to be sufficient for lubrication but not so good for corrosion protection, therefore they recommend 50:1 So no real reason to increase oil in your fuel other than to burn more oil, smoke more, maybe more carbon on rings and exhaust ports.
