I have a 1962 10hp Evinrude Sportwin that I have to run at high speed alot to get where I want to go. All together the boat, gear and people it pushes weighs about 900lbs. Is this bad for it to be run at full throttle alot?

No problem as long as you're not lugging it or operating it above its max RPM. :)

I'll bet there is not much carbon in the motor. Just do your maintenance you should be fine.

Bob

JayH I have a little six evenrude 1971 model and I run it like I stole it all the time.
No probs so far. There is one thing if yours or mine every comes apart people will be ducking flying parts for a week. There can't be any carbon left to stop it from coming out. :D :D
