Runabout + Jetski = ??????? (Project idea)

Just running through some ideas for different projects.......

I have seen several people take PWC engines/jets and work thim into aluminum jon boats. I got me thinking. (a scary thing)

Has anyone seen a PWC drivetrain grafted into a 60's era old runabout. I thinking it would be like a baby jet inboard. The powerplant from a junk 2-3 person jetski would probably provide plenty of power for one of those lightweight hulls. It may take some reshaping to effectively direct water to the intake grates, but i would be fun to try.

Your thoughts?

I've seen a boat body that you slide a jet ski into to turn it into a small runabout. Kinda a small scale James Bond thing

Also seen someone use a jetski to power a pontoon, had a remote steering and throttle linkage and driven from the normal pontoon console.

Those are some is pretty cool toys. I want one of each! OK, so i've been known to say that alot.

I'll have to add this project to my someday list. I think it would be a blast.
