My first question asked what year of MFG is this engine and all I had was the serial number and brand name.<br />As suggested, I took leave from the job, went to the engine in question and found the ID plate: Model E 6 R L E I A and Ser# B 088117568 MFG in Belgium. The papers with engine states 1988 year of MFG. Is this true?<br />I used the posted www.marineshopen.se web site and think that this engine was built in 1991.<br />Evin 6 hp Rope start 20 inch shaft 1991 . Are the ownership papers incorrect? Here in South Carloina, bad titles are a bear to get made right.<br />Thanks, Jim
