I have just pulled the carpet from my boat. Beneth the carpet it left pieces of rubber and adhesive. I tried paint thinner on the entire fiberglass coverd floor to no avail. Is there a solvent for this purpose. Thanks! Rich

Yes there is, go to a floor covering specialist you should get what you need there however it’s not an easy task. Don't put that crap back in the boat either, use a proper marine carpet.

i use a sanding disc, and a angle grinder, all you have to do is just hit it softly. but, very dusty.

I use LACQUER THINNER, it's much better remover glue and stuff like that.
Others here around the yard use lighter fuel first, because it doesn't evaperate as fast, they let it set for a while!

NO SMOKING !!
