Hi again...on my 73 evin 50hp, it has always gotten up to top speed 5500 RPM fairly quickly after getting on plane..now, it will plane out and sit at around 4000 rpm and very slowly will it creep up to full throttle...Motor seems to start fine and idle a little slow, but okay. I had a crack in a fuel line, but that has been replaced.<br /><br />Would dirty carbs cause this? Motor seems to very slightly surge at a 'cruise' rpm 3800-4200. I may just be hearing things...tach doesn't waver much.<br /><br />Thanks!
