Hello Again:<br /> Just traded boats and this one has two v6's with 205hp each. At 22mph the rpm's are at approx. 3900-4000 at 25mph approx. 4100-4300. At WOT approx. 4600-4800 33mph. Does this sound correct? The boat is a 1989 280 SeaRay Sundancer. Thanks for any info. Steve

your WOT is correct its just a lot of boat for V-6 motors<br /><br />what kind of shape is the bottom in a good cleaning could get you more speed<br /><br />tommays

hi all, i replaced my plug wires and distributor cover on the 23' wellcraft 454 7.4L .my question is, the old plug wiresthat i removed is their a test that i can do to see if these wires are good . i teied a 12V bulb and 12V from the battrie and nothing happened. i even tried the new MSD 8.5mm wires and nothing happened . should i try a/c 120v
