rpm range for 3.0?

i was out last night and had the motor wide open,it ran to max rpm which was about 2000-2200 fully trim is this normal or on the low side.

no thats on the low side for sure.motor needs a tune up or to much weight in her or the wrong prop good things to look at

Ayuh,... Rpms at Wot oughta be 4200/ 4600...

If it ran that low it may not even plane. Are you sure the tach is right.

not to sure,by sound i swear its more but tach says different.thats basically why im asking ,it didnt seem right. im going to hook up a tach i got here to verify its proper.as for getting onto plane ive had ne issues whatsoever.it gets up and goes easily.i will check all of that tomorrow and see what happens.thanks for the input.
