I have a 97 force 75,<br />when you engage the drive about 1/2<br />throughtle the rpm continue to increase<br />rapidly even thogh I am not puhsing it anymore<br />has any one had this happen<br />as always thanks for everyones help!
Is this while you are in the water and underway?<br /><br />Nope, never had it happen.<br /><br />If it is in the driveway while running it on water muffs, yes it happens. It is called a runaway engine. Can cause serious damage.
