Starts up first try every time but I have to keep bumping the choke to keep it from dieing. Takes a long time to plane out and runs rough. If I push it above 4000rpm's it starts cutting out. Compression is good on all 3 cyl's. New plugs. Any suggestions for trouble shooting?

You have to determine if you are losing spark or if it's a fuel system issue or both. I would start with the idle problem and attempt to locate what is causing that problem first. Put inline spark testers on each cylinder and see if you are loosing spark. If not then its a fuel system issue. Start at the fuel in the tank and work your way back through the engine reeds.

Yes you´d better follow the advice of Mr. #1, especially if you can´t read or understand the written material that you have recieved lately.
