Looking for advise for roller bunk adjustment... in the pictures bellow you can see that I need to adjust the rollers on this trailer.. My question is should I move the bunks so that they are straddling only the 1 strike closest to the keel or should I spread the rollers apart and have them straddling both the strikes ? I believe the back rollers are ok but if not let me know.... Thanks Mark...

Think outward just a tad so long as the keel has clearance. Might only take 1/2 inch. The starboard side appears next to nothing is touching. Is this the case and if so what is holding the boat?

Yes the keel has about 10 inches.. and the back of the roller is even with the transom on the starboard side but the front of the boat is not centered in the trailer so I'm hoping that once I get it centered it will move that side back a little on the trailer.. if not I have room to move the post back

Here's a few more pictures these are the front rollers that need to be moved to get them off the strikes. In moving them outward this means away from the keel correct? Im just asking because that would put them towards the outside of the hull. some better pictures might help

Yes away from the keel.
The rollers on the strikes is not going to damage anything. The way the hull is made, it appears it might be on one. Also note that when the hull gets ready to load, sometimes the bow keel area goes lower until the hull flatens out on the rollers. Just something to watch for

If you could lift the hull off all rollers while keeping the trailer under the hull, then they could be moved around for best fit

Im pretty sure your missing part of the pivot assembly as evidenced by the space between the heads of the bolts and the support brackets.

What brand is your trailer?

It's a magic loader by magic tilt ... as far as something missing are you talking about on the circled bolts below? If so those bolts have to be lose to allow for the wobble rollers to move with the bottom of boat ...20210311_121305.jpg

The bolts should not be loose. Your missing the rocker plates.

No sure if these fit your particular trailer, but this is the part you are looking for

Not to be contrary to all dodge, his advice may work well.
But if the boat does not load/center with the rollers moved away from the keel, you might try moving them closer in.
It would put the rollers against the v hull portion at the bow and help to center the boat during loading. Every boat and trailer combo is a little different.

Nice catch dingbat.

Align the rollers so that a strake (one or both) lines up just inside (toward the keel) of one of the rollers. Then when you retrieve the boat it will self center.

No problem, per se', if a strake rides on a roller, but it will just complicate loading.

Also, both sides should be exactly the same.

In my case, just by good luck, both strakes line up with both rollers. She loads up like a dream.
