I have these mounted several places on my boat. Are these a very common hole that I can just order the actual rod holder and it'll fit in these?

watch used want ads (Facebook, CL, etc. for kayak rod holders. That's what they look like to me.

those are the mounting brackets for a cheap attwood RH-4646 rod holder.

the plastic stud snaps off after about a year of use.

I would find a better rod holder myself

If they were Attwood, it would have the name embossed on the side. The stepped feature in the middle makes me believe they Are Tempress Fish-On.

I put on my first set of Fish-Ons in about 1982. Have had them on every boat since. In fact, when I sell a boat I remove them and put them on the new boat. So, some are 30+ years old. Never broke one yet. We use them for Musky trolling.

The downside is they don't float. So don't drop one overboard.

Yes, I have a Fish On brand on my 12 foot mirro-craft. I just took it out and it fits fine in the mounting brackets in the pic above.
