Hi Guys,
Dumb question of the day. I have a 1990 5.7L and I am trying to change the small fuel filter on the carb. I cannot seem to able to loosen the brass fuel line fitting from the carb fitting that holds the filter. Is it a reverese thread? I did not want to put to much preasure on it and have something break.

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Flare wrench also adds surface area to the fitting if the nut feels like it is close to rounding.

Like mike said, a tubing wrench is a good tool.
