I have an aluminum boat that has a few rivets that are leaking. What should I use to seal them up with?

I'm also thinking of installing a U-bolt on the bow of the boat so that I can hook it up to the hand crank on the front of the trailer. If I drill the holes to install this, what should I use to seal them up with? Same stuff as the rivets?

Re: rivet repair/hole sealant questions

if you can get to the inside of the rivets, they need to be tightend. big hammer on inside, and someone hits it from the outside. you also coat the inside with GULVIT, the aluminum boats best friend. clik marine store at the top of the page search gulvit, also google gulvit, and learn more. on the u bolt you need a backing plate, either a piece of wood shaped to fit the coutour of the inside boat, of fabricated metal.
