Riser gasket sealant

What is the recommended sealant for riser gaskets? Can the red rtv be used for this? 88 omc cobra with a chevy 350. The log style manifolds.

Nevermind. The gasket faces are graphite or something similar. So no sealer is required. Even if you put sealer on them it wouldn't stick.
