I am very sorry to hear this, I had many good conversations with him during my career, I had dinner with him 2 nights before I was wounded in the first Gulf war and it was a very enjoyable evening, he made sure I received the best care available after I was wounded and called quite often to check on my progress.

He was a brilliant General, his wisdom will be missed.

It's time's like this that you remeber that America's greatness was formed around men of his caliber. We truly are a blessed nation.No big show's... no big uniform's... just a big pair of boot's and a heart to match all of it.
